Whats a good price for a combat ready katana?

after a few years of martial arts training ive decided to invest in a katana and of other martial arts gear for a personal collection and display, but id rather get one that (god forbid) i could actually use. i figure that if your go you better go big. possibly hand crafted, but something from a reputable manufactuer
