I have recently provided a retailer with all my bank details via phone inc 16 digit number. Was this wise?

Bought a large Item from a very reputable Ebay seller/shop with 100% feedback and many thousands of sales but concerned as I provided 16 digit number and CVC 3 digit number on back of card. However I didn't provide them with my sort code and account number and name on card. Are there any risks? Thanks!
