How do I go about become a professional piercer/tattoo artist?

Hey guys so I'm almost certain I want to become a professional body piercer/tattoo artist. I'm not sure about how I go about this tho? Do I go to college for some sort of course, or a program, or what? I'm only 15, so I don't know if I should be planning on what courses later in high school I should take in order to improve chances of getting some sort of degree? I've taken some lifeguarding and first aid/CPR courses (I'm going to be a lifeguard when I turn 16) so that might help, idk. I want to work with people, for sure, and I'm not afraid of needles or blood or that kind of stuff. I definitely need to work on art and drawing. There is a really cool and good reputable places in my city. Is it hard to get a job at a good shop? Also, I'm left-handed...Does that effect much? I can use my right hand to write, but I prefer the left. I really have no idea, or starting point...Help me out? Thanks :)
